LONG BEACH CITY DECLARE OCTOBER AS FILIPINO AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH

Long Beach, 13 October 2010 – The Mayor and City Council of Long Beach, California proclaimed October as “Filipino American History Month” at the opening ceremonies of the Ala-ala: Remembrances, Philippine World War II Liberation Photo Exhibit held at the Long Beach Public Library on 09 October 2010 at 3:00 p.m.
