13/06/2011: City of Walnut Honors the Philippines
Los Angeles, 13 June 2010 – Walnut City Mayor Antonio Cartagena and members of the City Council presented a Resolution to Consul General Mary Jo Bernardo Aragon proclaiming 8-14 June 2011 as Filipino-American Heritage Week.
The presentation took place on 8 June 2011.
The Resolution affirms the achievement and contributions of the Filipino-American community of East San Gabriel Valley.
