PULONGBAYAN WITH CONGRESSMAN WALDEN BELLO

Los Angeles, 25 April 2011 – The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles hosted a Pulongbayan (town-hall meeting) at the Consulate General on 20 April 2011 with Congressman Walden F. Bello, Chairman, Committee on Overseas Workers’ Affairs, 15^th Congress of the Philippines, as guest of honor.

Among the issues discussed by Congressman Bello during the Pulongbayan includes agrarian reform, impeachment proceedings, overseas workers’ affairs, and the state of the Philippine economy.
